Qubit Fluorometer | Accurate DNA, RNA & Protein Quantification System
The Qubit Fluorometer is a highly sensitive fluorescence-based system designed for accurate quantification of DNA, RNA, and proteins. Unlike spectrophotometers, it uses target-specific dyes that emit fluorescence only when bound to the molecule of interest, ensuring highly selective and precise measurements even in the presence of contaminants.
• Fluorescence-based detection for high specificity and sensitivity
• Requires as little as ~1 µL sample
• Selective dyes minimize interference from contaminants
• Fast results (typically within seconds after incubation)
• Simple “mix-and-read” workflow
• Touchscreen interface with built-in reagent calculator
• Available in single-sample and multi-sample formats
• Detection Method: Fluorescence (dye-based)
• Sample Volume: ~1–20 µL (depending on assay)
• Throughput:
- Qubit 4: Single sample
- Qubit Flex: Up to 8 samples per run
• Assay Time: ~2–15 minutes (depending on assay type)
• Detection Range: From pg/µL to µg/µL levels depending on assay kit
• Data Output: Concentration with standard curve calibration
• DNA and RNA quantification (dsDNA, ssDNA, RNA)
• Protein quantification
• NGS library preparation quality control
• PCR and qPCR workflow preparation
• Sample quality control for molecular biology
• Biobanking and genomics workflows
• Qubit 4
• Qubit Flex
