The Applied Biosystems™ RapidHIT™ ID System is a compact, fully automated capillary electrophoresis platform designed to generate forensic DNA profiles directly from samples in approximately 90 minutes.
Engineered for Human Identification (HID) applications, the system integrates extraction, amplification, separation, detection, and analysis into a single streamlined workflow. It significantly reduces operational complexity and hands-on time, enabling rapid and reliable DNA profiling in both laboratory and field environments.
With FBI NDIS approval, the platform is well-suited for law enforcement booking stations, border control, and forensic laboratories requiring fast turnaround and high-confidence STR results.
