Electroporation System | Efficient Gene Delivery & Cell Transfection
The Neon Transfection System is a flexible electroporation platform designed for efficient delivery of DNA, RNA, or proteins into mammalian cells, including primary and stem cells. It utilizes a pipette-tip–based chamber to generate a uniform electric field, enabling high transfection efficiency and cell viability, even in difficult-to-transfect cell types.
• High transfection efficiency (up to ~90% in many cell types)
• Compatible with primary cells, stem cells, and hard-to-transfect cell lines
• Pipette-tip electroporation chamber ensuring uniform electric field distribution
• Flexible parameter optimization including voltage, pulse width, and pulse number
• Minimal sample loss with reduced contamination risk
• Streamlined 3-step workflow: aspirate, electroporate, and dispense
• Technology: Electroporation (pipette-tip based)
• Volume Range: 10 µL and 100 µL formats
• Cell Input Range: ~2 × 10⁴ to 1 × 10⁷ cells per reaction
• Voltage Range: Approximately 500–2500 V
• Pulse Control: 1–10 pulses with 1–100 ms duration
• Workflow: Manual or semi-automated depending on configuration
• Gene delivery including DNA, RNA, and CRISPR/Cas9 systems
• Stem cell and primary cell transfection
• Immunology and oncology research workflows
• Genome editing and functional genomics studies
• Cell and gene therapy research and development
• Neon NxT Electroporation System – Advanced configuration with improved workflow, 1- and 8-channel capability, higher throughput, and connectivity features
