Born and raised during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, these solutions have proven themselves for RNA extraction from viral pathogens. However, the capability of this product line is further reaching and future-proof for isolation of DNA and RNA from different species and sample types. The MagEx STARlet and the MagEx STAR are designed to function with a variety of kit chemistries from leading partners, including those that are FDA approved.
The workspaces are equipped with modules and devices that enable extraction for high sample number demands. The product line features a Multi Probe Head (MPH) 96 providing massive parallel pipetting for maximal process efficiency. With a selection of magnets of choice, the product line offers additional flexibility. While the MagEx STARlet can process up to 96 samples, the MagEx STAR is capable of processing up to 384 samples at a time.
